The Los Angeles Sonic Odyssey (LASO) presents a powerful collaboration between the electroacoustic sorcery of Jennifer Logan and the pianistic mastery of Bryan Pezzone with the cycle of 13 archetypal goddesses, a modern mythology without a prescribed dogma envisioned by artist and mystic Myron Dyal, that make CHARON’S PANTHEON. Roughly 90 minutes, the audience will be immersed in a ring of transcendent portals of temporal suspension, taking a deep journey through the conscious and subconscious realms of experience, guided by Logan’s voice from without, Pezzone’s from within. Images of the sculptures will be projected during the concert, photos by Eric Stoner. At once introspective and dramatic, an immersive experience.
Inside the rich and intoxicating acoustic space of Neighborhood Church, the Los Angeles Sonic Odyssey surrounds the audience with twelve state-of-the-art loudspeakers, lights dimmed, while intimately surrounding the piano in a semi-circle. Come share this unique and captivating experience of contemporary music, unlike any you have ever heard before.
